In today’s business environment, you either lead, follow or get out of the way. Traditionally, companies have been very successful in training their employees to operationally run a business. It’s working successfully with employees and customers where they fall short.
The Peak Performance Management Series is designed to provide realistic, hands-on and practical training on how to handle the people side of the business, while keeping the bottom line in focus. The curriculum will prepare participants for working with employees of all types, teaching them how to get the most out of their people and provide them with the tools necessary to become the successful leadership of tomorrow.
Each session in the Peak Performance Management Series is two days and is designed with accountability projects to maximize the participant learning experience.
Please note that Session 4 also includes a four-hour training program that teaches the fundamentals of financial management from the day-to-day supervisor perspective.
This program is facilitated by multiple trainers including Sara R. Kepley, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Kelsey Kowalski, PHR, SHRM-CP and Molly Crowe, SPHR, SHRM-SCP from the ProValue Team. As well as a special guest facilitator for the financial management portion of the program.

Session 1 The Power of Communication
Gain an understanding of the fundamentals of communication and help managers learn strategies for building trust. Also covered in this session are effective methods for conflict resolution.
Session 2 Leadership Development and Practices
Learn about the principles of leadership and the difference between controlling and empowering leadership styles. Participants will discuss the Five Leadership Roles and discover ways that empowering leaders unleash the commitment and motivation of their employees.
Session 3 Essentials of Human Resource Management
Discuss ways to avoid common pitfalls in human resource management and secrets of making the hiring process easier and more efficient. Learn the importance of performance appraisals and how to effectively implement them.
Session 4 Empowerment for Lasting Change
Managers will gain tools to empower their employees and communicate performance expectations. Identify areas that need focus and create an action plan to accomplish these goals. This session also includes a half-day on understanding your company’s financial information.
